1. Who we are

Traviso (Pty) Ltd, registration 2026/593150/07, is a South African travel-technology business developing its app and services. Traviso is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. Contact info@traviso.co.za or +27 65 079 7787. Address: 21 14th Street, Marlboro, Johannesburg, South Africa.

2. Early-access terms

Registration is free and open to people aged 18 or older using their own email address. Provide accurate first name, surname and email details. Do not register someone else or send identity documents, passport information, payment details or sensitive records.

Submitting the form creates a pending record. A confirmation email asks you to verify the address and the choices made. Select the link and confirm on the website. Access is not activated by opening an email alone. Confirmation links expire after seven days. Check your spam folder; contact us if you need help.

By requesting early access, you ask Traviso to send the confirmation, essential registration messages and an invitation when access becomes available. This request is limited to early access, not general promotional mail. Registration does not guarantee a launch date, place, price, booking, service availability, funding or app-store approval. Access may be staged, limited or changed; additional app or service terms will be provided where relevant. You can withdraw at any time.

3. Optional Traviso marketing emails

A separate, unticked box lets you choose email travel inspiration, product news and promotional offers from Traviso (Pty) Ltd. It is entirely optional. Leaving it unticked does not prevent early-access registration and does not give marketing consent. Agreeing to these terms is not, by itself, agreeing to marketing.

When selected, the recorded wording is: “I would also like Traviso (Pty) Ltd to email me travel inspiration, product news and promotional offers. This is optional, and I can unsubscribe at any time.” The selection becomes active only after email confirmation. We record the notice version, wording, choice and relevant times as evidence of your request.

Traviso marketing messages must identify Traviso and provide a free, clear unsubscribe route. Use the withdrawal link in our emails or contact info@traviso.co.za. The website withdrawal link stops both early-access and optional marketing messages. If you want to stop marketing but retain your invitation request, email us with that preference. This does not affect communications required for any separate service you later purchase.

4. What we collect and why

We collect first name, surname and email address to administer your request and invite you to early access. These fields are required for registration. We also store verification state, creation and confirmation times, terms/privacy version, your optional marketing choice, consent events and withdrawal state. Marketing is processed only for the separate consented purpose.

Records are held in a private server-side database, outside the public website directory. After confirmation, a notification containing your name, email address and consent choice is sent to Traviso at info@traviso.co.za. We use hosting and email service providers to operate the service and limit access to authorised personnel. We do not sell the registration list. An unconfirmed registration is not an active marketing subscriber.

To reduce abuse, a short-lived keyed hash derived from the connection address, and a keyed email identifier, are used for rate limits and duplicate checks. The application does not store the raw connection address in the registration database. The hosting service may separately log IP address, URL, time and technical request data for security and operation. Confirmation and withdrawal tokens are confidential; do not forward their links.

Our purposes are responding to your requested early-access service, recording your choices, securing the service and, only where you opt in, providing Traviso email marketing. Operators and any cross-border processing must be subject to appropriate contractual safeguards. Contact us if you need details of the providers and locations applicable to your information.

5. Retention and withdrawal

Unconfirmed registrations are removed after 30 days. Confirmed early-access records are retained for up to 24 months after confirmation, unless you withdraw earlier or establish a separate service relationship under a new notice. After withdrawal, identifying registration details are removed within 30 days through the scheduled retention process. A minimal keyed email suppression record is retained to honour your choice and avoid re-adding you without a verified request.

Consent evidence is held with the active record. Required legal retention, a genuine dispute or another lawful obligation may justify limited additional retention. Protected backups and notification emails also need retention controls; deletion is not instant across independent email providers and backup cycles. Contact us for an access, correction or deletion request. We may need proportionate verification before disclosing or changing your information.

Submitting an address again does not silently change a confirmed person’s choices. A withdrawn address is not automatically reactivated. Contact Traviso from that address if you intentionally wish to rejoin.

6. Your rights and questions

You may request access to your information, correction, deletion where applicable, withdraw consent or object to processing. Send a privacy request to info@traviso.co.za. Withdrawal does not invalidate lawful processing before withdrawal. Do not include an identity document unless a secure and necessary verification process is agreed.

You may also contact the South African Information Regulator about a concern or complaint. This notice does not restrict your statutory rights.

7. App previews, planning and enquiries

The app screens are controlled-preview captures. Sample amounts, policy decisions and journey states are demonstrations, not supplier quotes or confirmations. This website does not take travel payments, book services, monitor emergencies or execute autonomous travel transactions. Live services require confirmed providers, operating readiness, agreed terms and your approval. Lifestyle imagery is illustrative.

The sample planner runs locally in your browser using templates and planning percentages. It does not retrieve live prices or make reservations. Planner choices are not sent through the early-access form or stored on Traviso’s form server. Check travel requirements with the relevant provider or authority.

The separate general enquiry form opens a draft in your email app. You review it and choose Send. Unlike early-access registration, it does not submit to the registration database. Email you send passes through your email provider and Traviso’s provider and is used to respond to your enquiry.

8. Cookies, security and changes

This package uses no advertising pixels, analytics tags, non-essential cookies or browser-storage marketing identifiers. Fonts and images are hosted with the website. A short-lived form-security token helps protect submissions. External links open services with their own privacy terms.

Reasonable access, transport and database safeguards are used, but no system is risk-free. Do not send sensitive traveller records through this registration form. Material changes to registration or marketing purposes require appropriate notice and, where needed, a fresh choice; earlier consent is not expanded automatically.
